We know that many who are homeless also have drug and alcohol problems. They need help breaking free from these addictions, finding accomodation and learning to live independently.

At Bridges, we have a vision for a 'structured day care' service that would employ trained staff to provide a full-time support structure for our clients. Such a service would be unique in Rochdale.

We are currently seeking funding for the establishment of this project, as well as carrying out research into other, similar projects around England, and exploring training opportunities..

There is no quick-fix solution to the problems facing Rochdale's most vulnerable adults. It takes time, expertise, love and patience to support a person through the journey from homelessness, drugs and alcohol to a life that is independent, healthy and free from addiction.

At Bridges, we are committed to the whole journey.
