At Bridges dedicated town centre premises, visitors find a warm welcome from a stable group of volunteers who are committed to demonstrating the love of God through friendship, encouragement and practical support and service.

Each week we host an evening drop-in where upto 20 guests can receive a nourishing hot meal and hear a short Gospel message. It is during these relaxed times that initial relationships can be developed between volunteers and guests. There's also a weekly lunchtime session.

During the week, Bridges also offers opportunities for more personalised support, including counselling and prayer. Here, the relationships that have been formed at the drop-in sessions are strengthened and deepened as guests learn to trust the volunteers they are working with.

Visitors also have access to a telephone, computer and the internet. These services are vital for people wishing to gain some control over their lives, but are normally extremely difficult for homeless people to access.

Read a true story of how Bridges has helped to transform the life of one drug addict.
